As Bottega Verde grew from a small herbalist’s store into the company that it is today, it has stayed true to the natural approach for which it has always been renowned and followed an innovation process that aims to ensure that its products are increasingly safe and effective. Its formulas are the starting point on the road to renewal, which involves a pledge to avoid all unnecessary chemicals and a tireless search for natural ingredients.

In the 300 hectares around Tenuta Massaini, we are starting to grow new plants, including botanical and medicinal varieties such as mint, thyme, marigold, helichrysum and chamomile. Two native plants, maritime pine and broom, are already used in our products, as are grapes, olives and oats.

We are constantly searching for functional ingredients - such as Moringa from Brazil, Argan from Morocco and Goji berries from Asia - in their places of origin in order to preserve maximum efficacy. We currently use more than 300 from all over the world.
